How do you use visual basic programming on notepad and make it work.?
While you can write a program in notepad, it still needs to be compiled. Microsoft is offering a *free* version ov Visual Basic 2005 Express ... check it out.

Reply:that express edition has trial period....rather u should think about downoading .net SDK which offcourse will not include any drag and drop functionality rather it will compile you programs from MS-DOS.
Reply:You just need the SDK, as noted before. It contains the compiler, CRL and whatnot.

Reply:You can download Microsoft Visual Studio Express for free. It's located at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/expres... .

Using Visual Studio you can compile your Visual Basic Code.

Contrary to popular belief, Microsoft Visual Studio Express is NOT a 1 year trial period. If you download it's good for forever. The 1 year limit is because Microsoft will only support Express for 1 year. If you have any questions, read the FAQ. It explains the 1 year limit.
Reply:i think you have to export the program from visual basic as a type of .exe file
