Can I Sell My Visual Basic 2005 Programs?

I have Microsoft Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition, and I when I finish creating a program, I want to publish it as a single .exe file and sell it. Do I need a license, or do I have to pay a royalty to do this, or can I just sell my programs for free?

Note: I do have Visual Basic Express Edition, not the standard edition, and so I didn't pay for anything. I don't know whether this makes a difference.

Can I Sell My Visual Basic 2005 Programs?
Unless your software is the IDE then you can sell the program YOU wrote with the VB IDE regardless of version. The Express Edition tools where created with developers like you in mind - to generate interest in the .NET Framework 2.0. Keep in mind, if the code you wrote contains copywritten work then that is a different story - If it is an original work written with the IDE then you are fine.

Good Luck
Reply:You can, so long as you aren't distributing any Microsoft dlls or Microsoft code.
Reply:Sorry you cannot sell that program, you have a license to use it and not to modify or sell it. For further permissions please contact the program vendor.
